The Tale of the Sun and the Moon
The sun was in his bathing suit,
the moon in her pajamas.
They played all day
until the two
were called in by their mamas.
The sun went home and climbed in bed,
his mama sang a tune,
and soon the sun
was fast asleep
and dreaming of the moon.
The moon decided not to go;
instead she stayed outside.
She danced and played
and laughed and sang
and stayed awake all night.
When morning came the sun arose
and went outside to play,
but could not find
his friend the moon,
who slept inside all day.
So now these two are best of friends,
disjoined by dark and light.
The sun turns in
at evenfall --
the moon disports at night.
The shining moon sees no sunlight,
the sun sees no moonbeams,
but when they each
are fast asleep
they're in each other's dreams

isn't that so sweet?? caught amelie of montmartre today....... sigh....... y am i suddenly being infused with all these lovey poignantly hopeful ideas? not good............ better to stay grounded....... stick to dostoyevsky........ better to be disillusioned and troubled with concrete matters than hopeful and all floaty and stand to have your bubbles popped one after the other............
quick short thoughts today.......... i'm a selfish person......... we're all selfish people........ sigh.. let's not go into details shall we? regardless of how we try to redeem ourselves and make ourselves look good and play e part of e good guy, it's all for self-gain...... it just depends on how much we wanna try to be good..... but it gets tiring after sometime and we gotta take a break from it and just be our lone solitary being........ some time off from e others and to set aside some time for ourselves...... indulgence...... cultivation......... isolation......... independence........ self-search..........
